The countdown 'til Christmas is on!
Over the last couple of months, we have been working with the fabulously talented Pat Boldt to create a line of exclusive Christmas-themed miniatures for our doll shop. Rachel worked with Pat to design the fabric combinations. They are better than we imagined! Taking many hours per doll to create, every doll is completely handmade from head to toe, and all the clothing is hand-sewn by Pat.
Erik got to work first thing this morning to take photos.
We sent Pat photos of our beloved Raggedy Ann in the Victorian stroller as inspiration for the face on Dear, Sweet Old Raggedy Ann. The result had us smiling from ear to ear this morning when our 'littles' were delivered.
The 2” Jumeau dolls are fabulously costumed with candy-striped dresses with matching bonnets, gold belt buckles (look at the bow on the bum!), and teeny tiny handmade undergarments and shoe trims. They come in your choice of three colors of hair.
This is our Holiday take on a classic doll. The original HEeBee SHeeBee dolls were designed in 1926 by Horsman. These character dolls were designed by Charles H. Twelvetrees, a cartoonist & illustrator, from his "Twelvetrees Kids" featured in the Pictorial Review and newspapers throughout the USA during the prior decade. They are the cutest, chubbiest, little dolls, and we had to get some Christmas themed exclusives for our doll shop. The HEbee SHebee dolls are deliciously decorated with little red bows on their sweet heads. Each costume is entirely hand-sewn, taking hours and hours for each little china-painted treat.
'A Child is Born' is a delightful all-bisque baby in a layer upon layer red and green christening gown with matching bonnet, diaper, and tiny booties. Grace Marie Fitzpatrick loves hers!
Each order comes with a little bundle of the Pink Magnolia chinoiserie wallpaper stationary from our famous pink wall in the front of our shop. Shop now - these are SO limited, you will love them!
